Progressed development programmes targeted at employees from underrepresented: mentoring and an external development programme
Designed and delivered staff training webinars – DEI monitoring and associated actions, conscious inclusion

Considering project impacts
Facilitating conversations to ensure that project leads consider the project's impact on people and communities. Referencing equitable access, increasing engagement and inclusion, including underrepresented and/or unheard communities
Intercultural training for volunteers
Leverage cultural difference
Cultural self-assessment and action planning
Janice was part of the team designing and delivering intercultural training for volunteers working with people seeking asylum. We developed bespoke materials including a participant handbook and interactive, virtual training.
Janice facilitated interactive workshops for network members. Participants completed self-assessments on cultural values and motivation to work with people from other cultural backgrounds. After debriefing the self-assessment, we explored potential actions to work more effectively together.

Janice was project manager and consultant in a team who successfully delivered a research project for the UK Department of Health and Social Care. Janice was instrumental in ensuring the project was completed within the agreed timelines and that the report was of sufficient quality to be published on the government website - gov.uk.
